YTH2313- Ra Tuarua- Day Two

Kia Ora,

We started our day off with an early morning cold water plunge, got stuck into our ship cleaning then ate a big breakfast to fuel us for the big day ahead. Everyone jumped into their sail stations, hoisted the sails, climbed up the mast, out on the bow net and started to get a feel for the ropes and sails. The sailing took us to Army Bay, we stepped ashore and walked across half the island to learn some history at Mangahawea Bay. After some exploration time we headed back to the ship, jumped into our wetsuits and went for a fun dive off Army Bay, caught some Kai for afternoon tea and now getting ready for the night festivities.

See you!
