Well, no fish for breakfast this morning but it’s been a good day anyway whānau.
After the usual start to the day, we motored the short way over to Paradise Bay and Project Island Song to see if we could find any weta punga tracks in the tracking tunnels this week. On the way we had a man overboard drill in which we successfully rescued one of the horseshoe floats.
We stayed around at Paradise for pumpkin soup and scone lunch, Little Tucker sailing, tender driving practice and Tucker Challenge climbing. Everyone put a good effort in to all on offer and we have started making the first Tucker bracelets!
With the afternoon getting on we shot over to Waewaetorea Island for one more adventure. We’ll tell you about that when we get home but it was fun and involved some snorkelling at the other end.
We’ve just moved over to the back of Motukiekie for an amazing sunset viewed from up the rigging and on deck fishing again. We are about to have a meke Shepherd Pie dinner from chef Arihi for dinner before a night sail across to the other side of the bay tonight. We are excited for breakfast with the biologists over there tomorrow with TriOceans marine biologists.
