We swam and cleaned and then… PANCAKES!
After PANCAKES we split into two groups and rotated through three challenges: motor dinghy driving, little Tuck sailing, and Tucker Challenge climbing to the end of the lower topsail yard. It was complicated and wet but we all tried our best and succeeded in our own ways!
Then, lunch: beans and rice and RARO (because Amy asked). We had a quick digest rest and then went to shore to hike to the high point of Urupukapuka for amazing 360 degree view of the whole Bay of Islands. It was so high! And then… the great descent. We had to make a decision together about which direction to go! There is a bit more sorting out to do before our takeover tomorrow but we did make it home via sheep and trees and a game on the beach.
Now, back in the warm ship, we eagerly await our BOIL UP dinner feast.
