YTH – 2322 Ra Tuawha– Day Four

Wakey Wakey, all hands on deck for our morning swim! The water was so refreshing after a warm nights sleep onboard. We got right into our morning chores followed by baked beans, creamed mushrooms and scrambled egg’s, fit for a full on day of activities.
Today we completed our trifecta in Oke Bay, sailing Little Tuc, driving the tender and climbing the the shrouds for the Tucker Challenge. Chef Kelly jumped on the tools today and had a delicious boil up soup with cheese toasty rolls. Perfect after a big day. We finished off our day with a swim to cool off. It was then time to lift the hook, set sails and caught the last of the wind toward our night anchorage at Moturua, Army Bay.
We went ashore to explore the bunker and to take in the wonderful view of the Bay of Islands.
We’re all eating dinner now, curried sausages by Chef Rachel. We’re still buzzing from our achievements today and can’t wait for our kiwi walk tonight. We will check back in tomorrow and let you know if we spotted a kiwi. Until tomorrow whanau. Ma te wa
