A busy first day!… after saying goodbye to our Whanau at the Opua wharf, we headed towards Tapeka point playing name games along the way. Favourable winds meant we were able to set a bunch of sails and had an awesome sail to Paradise bay (Urupukapuka Island) once there we split into groups and did som line handling preparing us for the week ahead. We hoped off the ship to do a quick walk to a lookout, where we could see some heavy rain in the distance, quickly we retreated back to the ship, where we discussed our goals for the week.
