On Saturday 16 January, the Tucker put on a show and participated in the famous Bay of Islands Tall Ships Regatta. Held by the Russell Boating Club since 1976, the event celebrates the spectacle of sail with an impressive display of fleets.
Hundreds of vessels gathered in the Bay for some friendly competition. We turned our normal Day Sail into a thrilling day for both guests and friends, and even made it across the finish line with time to spare.
The day ended back at the Russell Boating Club for prizegiving, a Hangi and live music. Thank you for having us, and we sure can’t wait to do it again next year!
