Kia ora from the Goodship R Tucker Thompson. Another full day about Mimiwhangata. After a late night of Spotlight at the DoC campsite at Waikahoa everyone was slow to rise but sure to swim as the sun came over the hill. Usual duties and breakfast before we swapped sides of the bay and took on what was not covered yesterday of the peninsula. Another pa, some low tide beach excursions mixed with rock and tree climbing, taking the shelter on offer for a little relaxation in the sunshine.
Back on board for a souperb lunch then a sail plan for the afternoon in a crisp south wester that as we hoisted sail deserted us, managing to avoid the passing showers we made to a new overnight anchorage at Paparahi. Some catch up class work and dinner dishes done, looks like an early night in readiness for another full day apopo.
