From thy goodship to thy land lubbers…

On the dock before leaving for the voyage we played some icebreaking games.
Travis was last standing in captains coming before we left and raised the fore sail.
We set a course for Moturua Island.
Along the way the trainees had time to un-pack their bunks and make themselves comfortable for the week to come.
This was followed by a delicious lunch of toasties and hot chocolate before continuing down stairs for orientation.
The trainees also made themselves happy up the rigging shortly later.
On arrival we dropped the anchor, launched the tender and continued onto the beach for a hike around the island. The loop track took around two hours.
On arrival back to the ship we lifted anchor and motored to Orokawa for our night anchorage. Along the way Brianna took the helm.
On arrival we gathered as a group and talked about Tatu’s and goals for the week, this ended with a beautiful roast chicken dinner waiting for us to devourer.
Emma S, Emma H, Kira, Travis and Tea are all in the galley making a self-saucing pudding for desert… which smells delicious.
Aaliyah, Javed, Teina, Leonora, Chevy and Brianna are all either upstairs cuddled up in their blankets, or gathered around the saloon table, enjoying each other’s company, looking forward to having a delicious treat.
We hope you all had a great day because we did and have a great night!

Goodnight!
