YTH – 2006 Ono ra

We started our day as usual with a dip into the tide, however the morning winds were cold. A hot breakfast was enjoyed by all, followed by a walk over to the WWII gunner placement and around to Smugglers Bay. We hid in a canopy of tea tree to get away from the rain. The trainees enjoyed a Kiwi Classic game of tag and hide and seek .

In the early afternoon we made haste for a sheltered space in the Whangarei Harbor to hide away from the prevailing Sou – Westerly winds.

This evening the trainees spend their time doing challenges to try and earn some final points before the big announcement tomorrow night! All pray they come out on top.

Hopes and spirits are still high. All is well.
