We woke on this new day to a foreign time with a familiar sky. As it also poured down with rain and the ship was battered with wind we spent the morning filling in the trainee log books with lessons.
Mid day after a hearty lunch we made haste for an island walk around Urupukapuka. Games were enjoyed on the beach after.
This late afternoon was spend with the wind in our hair and smiles on our faces as we bashed windward to Motuarohia where we will be spending the night.
Spirits are high and all is well aboard the good ship of Te Tai Tokerau.
