YTH 2010 Rua Ra

Kia Ora from the R Tucker Thompson

Our day started with some lessons with Captain Wayne until we decided to go sailing across our beautiful bay with a 1m swell accompanying us. Taunga was our helmsmen on today’s passage to Indigo Bay where we anchored. Pete, Cole and Reagan went for a dive while the rest of the trainees swam around the ship.

After everyone got warm and back on board, we left for our night anchorage to Awaawaroa Bay where the trainees decided to drop some lines and start fishing, unfortunately without much success. Still, dinner was delicious and dishes are done.

Goodnight friends and whanau
