Kia Ora from the good ship R Tucker Thompson

Anchored in Oke Bay last night, there was a bit of a swell on the beach and everyone got wet when we went ashore, that was a good start and then the ship rolled a fair bit throughout the night so there was a few slow sleepy trainees this morning. We split into 2 groups, Connor, Chantelle and Pete went diving and caught 3 crayfish and the others did a climbing challenge around the coast, Taylor was the first one to fall off into the water but most ended up with wet feet. A fun challenge!

Great sail after that, out into the swells towards Cape Brett, all trainees on the bowsprit getting soaked again. The wet clothes are building up.

Anchored off Pipi Bay half the team was fishing off the ship and the others were singing below around the saloon table

A delicious roast dinner by Pete is cooking and we are heading off to sea again for a night sail to practice navigation. Not sure where we will end up but it’s the journey that counts!

Goodnight all
