YTH 2114 – Toru Ra

Another great start to the morning, we got ready for our cold swims then right into our morning chores. For breakfast we had scrambled eggs, baked beans, toast, and cereal then we got ready for some book work with our crew. Around 12:00 we piled onto mid tuck in two separate groups and headed to the beach for some games and a sandcastle competition. After about an hour of being in the hot sun we went back to the ship where lunch was prepped and ready, we had stir fried rice, sausages, and onions. Towards 2:00 we set sail for Roberton island also known as Motuarohia. We let the anchor down and a team got geared up to go for a dive while others swam or walked up towards the look out. The divers came back with a good catch and even caught a Tamure, courtesy of Captain Wayne. After the long day out on the beach we went back to the ship, had a little swim, before having dinner. Tonight, we had Lasagna and coleslaw just about ready to call it a day!
