Kia Ora Whanau!

Another day in paradise. We woke up to a cracker of a day in Oke bay. We decided to make the most of the sunshine and head on a mission to Cape Brett. After a navigation session, we weighed anchor and steamed out to the hole in the rock. Underway we practiced our new skills and did a relay. After a cool tender trip through the hole and into the cave, it was lunch time.

The team rose to the challenge in the afternoon and walked back to Deep Water cove from the cape. There were a couple of decent hills to keep everyone honest, but some nicely placed streams kept our bodies cool and drink bottles filled. Back at base we had a well earned swim and milo. The afternoon was rounded out with a quick lesson on buoys and beacons and some quiet time. Looking forward to dinner after an awesome day of adventure!

Ma Te Wa, bring on tomorrow.
