YTH-2322 Ra Tuarua – Day Two

Today our day began with a morning dip in the water, surprisingly it was very warm. We then got stuck into our morning routine of cleaning our ship. Breakfast soon followed with delicious mince and scrambled egg on toast by chef Arihi. Straight after the dishes we broke into learning our sail stations in preparation for a glorious sail. We lifted the hook and began our adventure. We managed to set all 9 sails today, whisking over the bay toward the Black Rocks. We dropped the hook at Moturoa Island where chef Andre had whipped up a vegetable soup which warmed the heart after a few drizzle patches along the way.
After lunch we jumped into the tender and headed to the island where we played games and got in our daily exercise.
Chef Arihi was up and cracked out buttered chicken for dinner. Yum! We are now doing a bit of book work and waiting for the sun to disappear so we can play hide and seek on the ship. What a full on day! We will check back in tomorrow. See you then!
