YTH 2501 – Rā Tua Tahi – Day 1

Today marks the first voyage for 2025!We were all excited to be here and couldn’t wait to head off. We finally left with big grins, setting sail and waving goodbye to our families. Along the way we were given a ship orientation, line handling and lunch, mac and cheese. We soon arrived in our sheltered anchorage, Army Bay. Once there we climbed the rigging. A lot of laughter filled the ship once more. We made it up! Something smells good, dinners not too far away, nachos! We’re all now settling in, getting to know each other and planning our week together. It’s been a pretty full on day today and plenty of activities to come. We’re looking forward to our first morning dip of the season tomorrow and can’t wait.
