YTH 2501 – Rā Tuaono – Day 6

It was a brisk morning wake-up, drizzle and wind, but still we all jumped in. It was straight into our cleaning stations with pancakes for breakfast. Yum!. We had our ship elections last night and chose our new crew to take over the ship. “Raise the anchor!” yelled Captain Max. “You heard him!” yelled First Mate Hayden. We all ran to our stations ready to go on our next adventure. We sailed further South gazing at the beautiful countryside. The ship was moving swiftly and all stations were working hard. We sailed into a beautiful beach, with amazing waters, trees and rocks, Smugglers Bay. We dropped anchor as the midships climbed up to put gaskets on the topsails. “It’s pretty windy up here, but so much fun” We headed to the beach to scope out a spotlight location and have some land time to ourselves. Time to head back to our ship for dinner and our evening routine. This will be our last post for YTH 2501, we hope you enjoyed following us on our journey. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to see you all tomorrow. Good night and see you then. YTH-2501 Closing Our Trip Report, OUT.
