Kia ora whanau,

Another day waking up in Paradise, we dove head first into the warming waters of the day this morning, which had us ready for a day of sailing across the Bay. We soon had weighed anchor and raised our sails and enthusiasm was high, enough so that we decided to take on the extra wero of setting our course and gaff topsail! We must have been looking pretty glorious because a couple of local bottlenose dolphins came torpedoing towards us to put on a show. We spent the afternoon exploring Rangihoua and learning about its history, before sailing back to Waiti Bay, Moturua, just in time to anchor up for a stunning sunset. Right now the smell of chef Tom’s beans and rice is lingering through the ship, drawing us back to a calm comforting eve
