Today we set sail from Ōpua. During our sail which lasted a few hours the trainees learnt how to set the sails, terminology and basic, useful knowledge about R Tucker. Once we reached Motuarohia Island, we anchored just off shore and used the dingy to reach land. When we got there, we hiked up to the landmark point and had a team discussion about group values and agenda for the week. Down from the lookout, the team played some games and then we headed back to the boat for a quick swim and some dinner, nachos!!! Ending the night with a bit of book work and chats with new friends.
