Back into reception!
Day 3: We started our day with a beautiful sail from Te Puna inlet, learning a new sail station and a different section of the ship, we crossed the bay and found a safe shelter at Urupukapuka bay. After a delicious risotto lunch from chef nick we got stuck into the “Tucker trifecta” Sailing Lil Tuck, tender driving and completing the Tucker challenge! After a busy afternoon full of laughter we had shepards pie for dinner, then headed to the beach to burn off the last of our energy with a game of spotlight.
Day 4: Today we started bright and early getting up for our swim before going ashore to Urupukapuka for a walk. We enjoyed amazing views before returning to the beach for some games! After lunch we loosed sail and set out to sea, setting all nine sails up and getting up to 7.5 knots! From there we tacked and returned into the safety of Moturua island where we enjoyed a chocolate cake baked by our crew members. Now we are off on a kiwi walk hoping to spot a few of the elusive birds.
