We had an Early start today, getting up at 6:30 to witness the magic of the sunrise at the Hole in the Rock-Motukokako Island.
After a breakfast while drifting in the windshadow of the mighty cliffs of Cape Brett, we all loaded into the tender and weaved our way through the rocks and seals to the landing, to start the 2 ½ hour Hike back to Deep Water Cove.
A quick pause aboard and we went for a quick snorkel in the crystal, yet slightly fridged water!
Back aboard, and with a hot shower and hot lunch we were ready to move on!
Rene, Taahu, and Manuao raised anchor while Makayla did an awesome job flaking down 50M of chain! With Samson at the helm we headed for Whapukapirau Bay.
Once safely at anchor, Jae, Thomas, Ruby, Dan, Taahu, Sampson, & Kayle Completed the Tucker challenge!!
All the trainees are now on shore using what is left of their seemingly endless energy! While Chynna is cooking us a delicious smelling dinner!
