Ahoy from the Tucker T

Another lovely day enjoying the sunshine and making our way down the coast

Our morning started at 0730 hrs for a morning swim in the ocean. Shortly after followed morning duties and breakfast.

Once dishes were done we journeyed ashore in the tender to Admirals bay in Whangaruru to do a loop track along the coast and in the bush. Along our walk we decided to go geo-cache searching (Treasure hunting) and we managed to find 4 capsules. As we made our way back to the beginning we returned to the ship for some freshly baked biscuits and homemade sandwiches.

Dishes done once again we lifted anchor raised the mainsail, fore sail, Headsails and topsails and then set a course for Tutukaka Habour. Along the way enjoyed the scenery of the east coast and the marine life that surrounded us.

As we came into the lee of Tutukaka Habour we doused sails and made our way into the anchorage.

After some free time we then ran into a few classes on deck about line handling, Tides and Phonetic alphabet.

Now we have just enjoyed a delicious dinner of a mince and cheese pie with salad and are looking forward to the rest of the evening and what tomorrow brings.
