Kia Ora from the R Tucker Thompson

Another full on day full of activities and sunshine.

Our morning started off with the traditional morning swim, shortly after followed morning duties and breakfast.

Straight after dishes we weighed anchor and motored around the corner to Mosquito point to do some fishing. We caught lots of Jack Makeral for bait, and lots of undersize snapper which we put back to catch for another day.

After some fishing we weighed anchor once again and motored to Otaio Bay for some lunch of Cabonara. With dishes cleaned once again some of us geared up to dive for some Kai Moana while the rest of us stayed behind to do some baking.

Everyone back on board, buckets full of kina and cookies with raro for afternoon tea. We then cleared the decks and went for a nice sail across to the western side of the bay of islands, we even managed to set full sail and got lucky to see some dolphins!!

We eventually doused sails and pulled into Rangihoua Bay where we will be spending the night.

We are now all tucked up enjoying curry for dinner and looking forward for the trainees to take over the running of the ship for tomorrow.
