YTH-2101 Wha Ra

Kia Ora from the RTT,

Nice wake up this morning to a sensationally sunny day. After our morning swim, duties and breakfast, we demolished the dishes and hauled anchor. We set sail, rotating through stations. Noah and Kymani guided us out at the helm.

The destination was Wai iti bay, where we launched mid tuck and all went ashore for a walk. 1.5 hours and a few games later we ended up at Army bay for some kai, history and a swim.  Johnnie cleaned up in the game Ki te.

We returned to the mother ship, had a swim and moved across to Putakokota bay, our home for the night. Michelle then went down and started cooking dinner while little tuck launched and was rowed round in circles. Lots of laughs were had and Jayden fell overboard fully clothed. We set some goals for the week and watched the sun set. As I write this Jessie Lee and Jackson are sitting out on the bow sprit looking at the stars. Happy days.

We are very grateful for some sunshine hours today, bring on tomorrow.
