Kia Ora R Tucker Whanau,

The weather has arrived! It was a windy night, but the anchor held strong. After breakfast and a swim, we decided to venture out to shore. We donned all our wet weather gear, prepared for the worst, but ended up having a very pleasant (dry) few hours ashore. We did a beach clean first and found loads of different things from old rusty cans to micro plastics to a small toy horse. It is really cool to be able to give back to the bay in a small way, which in return gives us so much! We then played some fun beach games before finishing with an epic sandcastle competition. We then headed back to big Tucker for some yummy soup and scones, thanks Josh and Wayne!! Will completed his tucker challenge on return, right as the wind and rain packed in again. After lunch dishes were all wrapped up, it was time for some lessons with Wayne. We wrapped up the afternoon with bracelet making and baking. All in all, a great day, despite some amazingly average weather. The group grows closer and closer each day, it is very cool to be a part of. See you all in a couple of days.
