Kia Ora Whanau,
Today our sailors set sail from Opua and cruised out of the bay through glassy waters. Ship Master Wayne filled the group with gems of history and knowledge from around the Bay. We fired up the barbeque for lunch, enjoying the sun, as the crew and team got to know each other a little more. We sailed through the black rocks and dropped our anchor on the north side of Moturoa island. We all went ashore (with permission granted) and after a short hike with stunning views, we played some fun, team building games to shake out a bit of energy. Back to the ship we went for a swim, followed by some nautical lessons. Looking forward to dinner and a superb 6 days ahead. What an awesome bunch of young people, bring on the adventures.
