Midday today marked the half way point of our trip, and we got to spend it at the Poor Knights which marks the epicness of our adventure! We got up swiftly and jumped in for our morning swim as the first sun rays were touching the water, and not long after our morning routine of getting our ship ship-shapely, we set sail out to sea. Our passage was endorsed by a pod of three bottlenose dolphins that excitedly swam up beside us just as we set our first sails. They hung out under the bowsprit and blowed us some kisses of good omens to send us merrily out to sea. Under passage Andre taught us about the clouds and Zhané spoke of the tradewinds, as we flew along side our seabird brothers. We arrived close to Nursery Cove and dropped the dinghy for some closer exploration. We managed to explore the big cave and go for a snorkel before the weather packed in and we had to make way towards our anchorage for the night. We’re currently on the hook at the south end of Ngunguru Bay, prepping for a great Birthday party for the Tucker tomorrow!
